Help
Your pages are... cracking.
Are white horizontal lines appearing through the photos? Does the length of the text exceed the length of the photos, when properly displayed? If so, your text size on your browser is too large. To remedy this, go to your browser's "View" menu, then the "Text Size" line and decrease it until the photos look whole.
I'm getting a Photobucket error image.
Really? Where? Refresh the page, and if it persists, email me to let me know (dktan at telus dot net).
Your full-size photos are too small.
Are the photos starting big, then shrinking down when they're fully loaded? This happens in newer versions of IE, the browser resizes the photo to fit your screen. You can enlarge the photo by hovering your mouse over the image until a button appears in the lower right corner, click on this to restore the original image size. To disable this function entirely, go to "Tools", then "Internet Options", click the "Advanced" tab and look for the "Multimedia" subcategory, deselect the box next to "Enable Automatic Image Resizing".
If there's nothing wonky with your browser, then it's me. Some photos are indeed smaller than others for no good reason. Also, Photobucket automatically resized some of my photos even though I asked it not to. Re-uploading just resized them again.
Your full-size photos are too big.
If you're using IE, do the reverse of what I said in the first paragraph of the last help item.
If not, well too darn bad, you're on your own. I can't fit everyone's monitor perfectly.
The pages take forever to load.
Due to the size and number of images, I've had to host the pictures through Photobucket, go yell at them.
[Insert any complaint about the videos.]
Yes, also hosted through Photobucket, make sure your version of Flash is updated, I've had issues with the reliability and quality as well. They're a free service, whaddya want?
C'est Fini
Alright, that's all for now. I have more content planned but who knows when I'll get around to it, check back sometime.
Thanks for coming along for the ride, bye!
