Have you ever started seedlings indoors? From beginnings rooted in the dry
rustle of seeds in glossy envelopes, the moist softness of soil and peat
moss, to the promise of pale green cotyledons. And do you know how it all
can fall apart? Seedlings ready for transplant or hardening off languish in
the delay of spring, grow lanky and pale in the weakness of the basement
light, suffer not from want of anything but because of the inadequate
sameness of a cared-for and sheltered existence. Yeah… that sucks.
Sorry for the lack of anything here, I've been busy.
And geez Jo, I know it's your birthday, but stop flashing your underwear around.
08.02.06This past weekend was the first time I:
-went north of Comox on Vancouver Island
-bought 84 buns at one time from Superstore
-put on snow chains (okay fine, I held the flashlight)
-drank scotch
-went showshoeing
-spent three days straight with co-workers and was still happy to see them on monday
Hi Russell! More photos here.
