LAB #3 - Eurhynchium praelongum

Eurhynchium praelongum (=Kindbergia praelonga) is very common in this area.


The leaves of the main stem are squarrose (a good field characteristic).


This species has leaves of varying shape. This is a small leaf from a side branch.

This moss has a double peristome (exostome to the outside, endostome to the inside).
