Teaching
and Research Interests:
My
research has focused on the ecology of marine communities, and consisted
of both field and molecular work. Specifically,
I investigated and clarified the complex life history of the temperate
green alga, Acrosiphonia, and I initiated a population genetics study of
the tropical seagrass, Thalassia. I
am presently working with Rob to expand our understanding of algal
endophyte / host relationships. This
will involve both field work and the use of scanning EM.
I have a general interest in all issues regarding biodiversity and
conservation. |
