Stanley Park
The members of Biology 321 are working on a bryophyte inventory for Stanley Park. This will be an ongoing project for future bryology classes. So far we have identified 32 different bryophytes including Buxbaumia piperi.
The first field trip was not well attended due to snow: 
Buxbaumia piperi (bug moss) was found on the second field trip.
It was very exciting because this moss is rarely found in the lower mainland
except in the mountains.
