This workshop will bring together Canadian researchers and internationally-renowned scientists to explore recent advances in genomics research and it’s integration within the plant sciences. The meeting will examine the latest developments in genomics; insights into the processes and pathways that control plant development, metabolism, or interactions with the environment and other organisms; and new opportunities for biotechnology.The 5th Canadian Workshop will be held July 30 - August 2, 2007 at the Renaissance Vancouver Hotel Harbourside, 1133 W. Hastings Street, Vancouver, BC, Canada.

Critical dates:

  • March 1: registration opens
  • May 11: early bird registration deadline
  • May 11: deadline for abstracts to be considered for oral presentation
  • June 29: accommodation registration deadline
  • June 01: deadline for abstracts to be included in abstract book
